A privately held real estate investment and management firm is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to oversee multi-entity accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This executive role will partner closely with senior leadership to drive accounting strategy, process improvement, and scalability. Key Responsibilities
Oversee consolidations, intercompany accounting, and GAAP compliance Manage audits, tax compliance, and external advisor relationships Direct cash management, treasury operations, and lender reporting Deliver timely financial statements and management reporting Partner cross-functionally on budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis Implement and optimize accounting systems and processes Build, mentor, and scale the accounting team Qualifications
CPA required; Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership Public accounting background preferred (Big 4 or regional) Real estate accounting experience required (fund/investment) Strong knowledge of US GAAP, consolidations, and compliance Experience leading teams in a growth environment Compensation
