Director of Global Quality for Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Americas, reporting to the Head of Quality, will lead the deployment and oversight of Total Quality practices across manufacturing and supply chain operations in North America, Europe, and Asia. Responsibilities
Lead Quality teams across U.S. and global sites; ensure
AS9100D ,
AS9145 , and
AS9102
compliance. Own
AXI/ICT/AOI strategies ; deliver measurable FPY and yield improvements. Oversee
MRB ,
RCCA/8D , supplier quality, and customer QA. Ensure
ITAR/EAR compliance
in all Quality processes. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to deliver defect-free Class-3 assemblies on schedule. Represent Quality with customers, regulators, and certification bodies. Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Science. 10+ years in electronics manufacturing (EMS/PCBA/SMT), including 5+ in leadership. Expertise in Class-3 standards: J-STD-001, IPC-A-610,
AS9100D . Proven results improving FPY/yield with AXI/ICT. Experience in multi-site, multi-region leadership. Skilled in NPI, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D. Hands-on leadership style: present on the shop floor, coaching teams and driving process discipline. Seniority level
