An innovative aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Sr. Quality Inspector to join their fast-paced quality assurance team. Base pay range $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr
Responsibilities
Perform visual and dimensional inspections on supplied Electronic/PCBA parts
Set up and operate 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment
Verify compliance with engineering drawings, process specifications, and industry standards (e.g., IPC-610)
Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, pin gauges, etc.) for inspections
Document and report nonconformance following MRB process
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and generate reports in compliance with SAE AS9102
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of electronics assembly manufacturing experience
Knowledge of 3D AOI equipment and procedures
Strong understanding of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards (certification preferred)
Understanding of traceability (product, material, calibration)
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Keyence, CMM, OMM, Faro Arm, or Romer Arm
Familiarity with digital X-Ray inspections
Proficiency with Polyworks
Ability to program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines
Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection Requirements
Understanding of basic statistical process control (SPC) methods
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector certification
