Total Wine & More is seeking a Product Information/Master Data Management (PIM/MDM) Engineer. This position will fill a key role on the team to integrate PIM/MDM tools and provide design guidance, development, and ongoing support/maintenance of new functionality and capabilities. The successful candidate will: Integrate PIM/MDM tools and provide design guidance, development, and ongoing support/maintenance of new functionality and capabilities Have hands-on experience in development and designing of enterprise PIM/MDM solutions, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Merchandising Be responsible for new initiatives as well as the day-to-day operational/technical aspects associated with our PIM/MDM platform Provide development best-practices, education, and training expertise to business and IT staff on the processes developed for MDM Manage projects involving STEP version upgrades, review/suggest code, and suggest best practices related to coding for offshore development teams Work as a data engineer along with the data science team for design, implementation of data engineer tasks in the Google Cloud platform Lead development/maintenance releases & production support tracks for Product data master (PDM) application National travel to a Total Wine office for training may be involved, not to exceed 60 days/yr and 5 days/trip May undergo background checks, including drug screens The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a relevant field OR a Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a relevant field and 6+ years of relevant Product Information Management or Master Data Management and configuration & development experience 4+ years of relevant Product Information Management or Master Data Management and configuration & development experience 3+ years of experience in systems configuration, development – attribute and business rule creation, portal development, integration endpoint configuration, and workflow creation; technical skills in software development; RDBMS/NoSQL databases; SQL or NoSQL syntax; REST APIs for troubleshooting/analysis pertaining to PIM/MDM integrations; Agile development practices, methodologies, and tools; Retail Merchandising/Inventory business applications; MDM Product new functionality solution architecture, design, development, Implementation, production support; managing projects involving STEP version upgrades Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable We offer: Paid Time Off (PTO) Generous store discounts Health care plans (medical, prescription, dental, vision) 401(k), HSA, FSA, Pre-tax commuter benefits Disability & life insurance coverage Paid parental leave Pet insurance Critical illness and accident insurance Discounted home and auto insurance College tuition assistance Career development & product training Consumer classes & More!
