Qualifications & Responsibilities: Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion Must possess
one
of the following credentials: MEPAP 1, ADC, CDP, or CTRS certification Minimum
2 years
of experience in long-term care, as a supervisor Ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team Developing care plans, monitoring systems and all documentation requirements Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, Residents’ Rights Supervising the Activity Department personnel Creating, planning, implementing monthly calendars and newsletters Follow budgetary guidelines for the department Assist with creating, planning, and implementing Facility Event Calendar for staff Computer knowledge and experience using Point Click Care Ability to manage time effectively Creating person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and special sensory activities Activity Director
