Mayvin Inc. is seeking an Operations Specialist to deliver instruction to students enrolled in "A" and "C" schools at the United States Coast Guard Training Center (USCG TRACEN) in Petaluma, CA. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to pass a background Investigation (BI) Hourly Rate: $30.00/hr + $4.93/hr Health & Welfare Responsibilities: Ensure personnel are well prepared for real-world scenarios by improving their ability to respond effectively to emergencies and operate efficiently in command environments Prepare and execute to USCG Instructional standards in the conduct of classroom / laboratory / seminar / conference / discussion / lecture / demonstration / practical exercises per class training schedule Provide hands on training in SAR equipment, and technologies, techniques, procedures, and best practices Cover topics such as mission planning, search patterns, rescue operations, and resource coordination Teach how to manage and operate within command centers, focusing on communication, decision-making, situational awareness, workflows, and protocols Cover tools and systems for real-time tracking, coordination of field units, and crisis management Emphasize skills related to ground operations, including navigation, terrain analysis, and integration of land assets in SAR and command operations Address unique challenges associated with land-based rescue and command environments Develop and deliver training programs that combine classroom instruction with practical, scenario-based exercises Assess students' performance and provide constructive feedback Requirements: Minimum two (2) years of experience as a primary classroom instructor Minimum five (5) years of rated/commissioned operational experience as a qualified CIC Watch Supervisor or Controller in the U.S. Coast Guard or equivalent in the U.S. Navy About Mayvin: Mayvin is more than a workplace-it's a community built on innovation, inclusion, and impact.
