Position: Assistant or Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship Faculty Unit: Faculty of Business and Government Closing Date: Review of applications will begin on October 1, 2025 Job Type: Full-time Job Category: Faculty Status: Open Qualifications: A master’s degree or doctorate degree in a business-related discipline is required. Foreign equivalent degree from a nationally accredited institution accepted. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the process of starting and operating a new venture. Preference will be given to those who have entrepreneurial experience involving the BYU-Hawaii target area of Oceania and the Asian rim. Brigham Young University–Hawaii seeks candidates that support its mission and who are committed to strengthening its students both spiritually and intellectually. As an educational institution affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, BYU–Hawaii prefers to hire qualified members of the Church in good standing. Responsibilities: Teach approximately 30 semester credit hours per year over three semesters in subject areas such as Leadership and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, New Venture Finance, New Venture Marketing, and New Venture Management. Set a strong example of Christlike behavior and ensure interactions with students reinforce the teachings of Jesus Christ and His prophets. Scholarship, creative endeavor, ongoing professional development, and university service are required. BYU–Hawaii’s primary focus is undergraduate learning and teaching. Salary range: 113-130K (depending on academic ranks and experience in field & academia) Housing stipend and relocation expense package provided. Annually renewable contract eligible for Continuing Faculty Status. Standard BYU-Hawaii benefits package for regular full-time employees.
