Responsibilities
Starting as a Player/Coach, you’ll work side by side with the team in a Cradle-to-grave model.
Be proactive in bringing in new customers and using them as starter accounts for new employees.
Manage and support the existing team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Work closely with our internal recruiter to hire new staff members.
Train new staff in both operations and sales aspects of the brokerage.
Conduct regular meetings and accountability sessions with team members.
Set clear goals and expectations for team members to drive performance.
Hold P&L responsibility with a focus on profitability, while maintaining minimal involvement in day-to-day expenses.
Develop and curate a positive, collaborative, challenging, rewarding, and fun culture that fosters team engagement and high performance.
Freight Brokerage Sales, Account Management, and Operations (3+ years)
