Job Description:
As a
IronSpire Senior Associate , you will be involved in both compliance and consulting on a variety of projects. Strong technical skills and communication are vital to this role. The Senior Associate is responsible for the compliance function for clients' personal income tax returns and trusts, but may also prepare corporate and partnership tax returns to support overall client engagements. Tax consulting includes performing tax research and working with affluent families and their businesses on tax matters including the planning and execution of special ad hoc projects. Responsibilities: Support tax planning, compliance, controversy, and consulting needs for wealthy family/family office clients Prepare and review the filing of complex tax returns and supporting documents for wealthy family/family office clients Assist in managing the tax team in the planning, maintenance and execution of client deliverables and engagement economics Build and maintain client satisfaction through strong relationships and expertise Assist in managing, developing and coaching staff and interns Grow internal and external network for current or future revenue channels Have strong knowledge with Tax technology, software and data including Microsoft Office, CCH Axcess Tax, and BNA Income Tax Planner Participate, self-educate, and develop others in tax trainings (including knowledge on tax laws and regulations impacting high net worth clients), industry and technology trends Participate and be a change agent to your team in Tax strategy including Tax transformation Serve as a Transformation subject matter expert or champion Qualifications: BS in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus CPA preferred, must be CPA eligible Minimum of three (3) years of experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend High Net Worth Individual Tax Practice experience including working individuals, trusts, private partnerships and S-Corporations Possess effective writing, communication and tax research skills Crowe is an equal opportunities employer.
