Vice President, Technology Operations
Location: Dallas Metro / Hybrid (4 days a week in office)

Nexis Talent has been retained by a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare organization with more than 400 locations across 30+ states to identify and recruit a
Vice President of Technology Operations . This is a pivotal leadership role with the mandate to scale technology infrastructure, strengthen security and compliance, and enable continued enterprise growth across a
large, distributed, multi-unit environment . The VP will join the senior leadership team and serve as a key partner to the CTO, ensuring IT operations and innovation align with both business and clinical priorities. This is a highly visible role with the ability to make a measurable impact on the organization’s operational efficiency and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems:
Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure (networks, storage, cloud environments, telephony).
Clinical & End-User Technology:
Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions across both clinical and corporate environments.
Service Management:
Drive ITSM processes, ensuring responsiveness, consistency, and operational excellence.
Security & Compliance:
Partner with security leaders to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with HIPAA, PCI, and other regulatory standards.
Vendor & Partner Management:
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost control, and scalability.
Budget & Strategy:
Manage IT operations budgets while driving efficiency and innovation.
Information Security Leadership:
Shape the security vision and proactively manage cyber and data risks.
Innovation & Adoption:
Introduce emerging technologies that enable the business to scale across multiple sites.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing IT operations team distributed across a multi-unit healthcare organization.
Education: Experience:
8+ years of IT leadership across infrastructure or service management.
Proven success in multi-unit, distributed environments
— ideally in healthcare, retail, hospitality, or other multi-site industries.
Experience scaling IT operations and leading cross-functional teams in complex organizations.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of IaaS/PaaS, Azure and/or AWS, cloud security, and automation.
Familiarity with Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Office Suite, and multi-cloud environments.
Leadership Skills:
Strategic vision combined with hands-on execution.
Strong communicator who can bridge technical and business priorities.
Data-driven decision-maker with exceptional collaboration skills.
