Position Summary & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Networking Technology Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cutting-edge network infrastructure. This pivotal role will focus on developing a robust satellite routing framework and managing our core routing MPLS systems. Satellite Routing Framework Development: Design and implement a comprehensive routing framework for satellite-based communication networks, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Core Routing (MPLS) Systems Management: Design and develop Logos’s service network routing infrastructure, similar to MPLS technologies. Network Architecture and Design: Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures. Leadership and Collaboration: Build a Networking Team at Logos capable of driving development across the system. Research and Development: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in networking technologies. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on routing and switching. 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex routing solutions. Strong understanding of satellite communication technologies and network architectures. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a systems team. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV). Experience with space-based networks. Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies.
