Logos Space is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite system purpose-built to serve the connectivity needs of commercial enterprise users and government users. We will help fill an important gap in the market, providing resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity services to enterprise and government customers worldwide. Logos is led by a team of highly experienced engineers with proven track records in the networking and satellite industries. Position Summary & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Networking Technology Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cutting-edge network infrastructure. This pivotal role will focus on developing a robust satellite routing framework and managing our core routing MPLS systems. Satellite Routing Framework Development:

Design and implement a comprehensive routing framework for satellite-based communication networks, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Evaluate and select appropriate routing protocols for hybrid satellite and terrestrial networks. Develop strategies for handling satellite-specific challenges, such as latency, bandwidth, demand variations, and link disruptions. Optimize network performance through traffic engineering, QoS mechanisms, and routing policy configuration.

Core Routing (MPLS) Systems Management:

Design and develop Logos’s service network routing infrastructure, similar to MPLS technologies. Design and implement Logos network solutions to support various services and customer requirements. Troubleshoot complex routing and performance issues, ensuring network stability and minimizing downtime. Examine networking approaches in the context of the other Logos considerations, such as payload impacts, terminal design, and customer equipment interfaces and requirements. Plan and execute network evolution and constellation expansions, incorporating new technologies and services.

Network Architecture and Design:

Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures. Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and solutions to enhance network capabilities and performance. Ensure network security by implementing appropriate access controls, firewall policies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Build a Networking Team at Logos capable of driving development across the system. Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of network engineers. Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including payload and bus engineering, operations, vendors, to ensure network integration and support. Manage network projects, including planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Support business development in working with potential end customers to integrate the Logos service into their networks.

Research and Development:

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in networking technologies that would impact the product needs for the Logos Service. Participate in industry forums and standards bodies to contribute to the development of next-generation networking solutions.
