Draft and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Manage complex caseloads for clients in the chemical and related industries. Support due diligence efforts related to patent portfolios. Collaborate with multiple partners and clients on high-value assignments. Provide strategic patent counseling in emerging areas of chemistry and materials science. Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in patent law, particularly in chemistry-related inventions. Master’s or Ph.D. in chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer science, biochemistry, or related field. Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Admitted to the state bar or eligible for prompt admission. Strong writing, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced legal setting.
