Overview The position involves representing clients in a broad range of patent prosecution matters. Attorneys will draft and prosecute applications before the USPTO, manage assignments across multiple partners, and advise clients in industries spanning life sciences, biotechnology, and chemical engineering. Key Responsibilities
Draft and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Conduct due diligence reviews for clients in complex transactions Manage a diverse workload from multiple partners and clients Provide strategic guidance on intellectual property matters Qualifications
2–4 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm or similar setting Registered to practice before the USPTO (Patent Bar eligibility required) Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (if applicable) Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer science, biochemistry, or related field Strong writing, research, and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under deadlines Culture & Firm Appeal This firm is recognized for its intellectual property practice and collaborative culture, with mentorship, professional growth, and associate support.
