Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and relevant accounting standards. Lead month-end close processes and oversee all agency accounting operations. Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, payroll, journal entries, and adjustments with the parent company. Develop and manage the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads and monitor budget variances. Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, collaborating with the parent company and external auditors during annual audits. Oversee cash flow management, monitor liquidity, and optimize working capital through effective treasury policies. Must-Have Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in an insurance accounting/finance role. Proficiency in Applied Systems’ EPIC software. Strong knowledge of accounting for property & casualty insurance. Proven success in a fast-paced, high-growth, metrics-driven business environment. Nice-to-Have Skills:
Ability to anticipate needs and minimize exposure and risks. Unwavering adherence to ethical standards and principles, holding oneself and others accountable for outcomes.
