Controller – Boston Law Firm Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, GL maintenance, and AP/AR review Manage budgeting and forecasting Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Meet regularly with leadership on financial standing and performance Lead year-end and external audits Oversee and manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring growth and accountability Qualifications
6+ years of finance and accounting experience required Professional services background preferred, with expertise in law firm accounting practices Staff management and strong leadership skills Ability to manage advanced Excel reports and legal accounting software programs Operational Details
This role requires a 5-day onsite commitment at the Boston office for training and ramp-up (4-6 months). After training, the role will be hybrid, 3 days onsite per week.
