The Grants Manager will be an integral senior member of a team that provides direct support of proposal preparation and submission, as well as post-award financial management for the Electrical and Computer department. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Grants Manager will be responsible for advising and assisting a portfolio of assigned faculty with the development and submission of proposals for sponsored research; management of all financial accounts; and representing the assigned faculty in communication with university administrative offices and federal and private funding agencies for sponsored research. Employee must have extensive knowledge of OMB Circulars, federal sponsor guidelines, and the interest and ability to mentor their junior colleagues. Required Skills Bachelor's degree required. Accounting background in an academic environment with grant experience. 5-8 years of related preparation and management experience desirable.
