The Grant Administrator position has a primary objective which is to assist faculty in preparation of grant applications, submission and budgets, maintain the database of pending and current department research support, monitor pre-award and post-award activities of funded projects, and assist with processing and tracking of the research related payables and receivables. This position requires frequent communication with the Administrative Director of the Department of Surgery, Vice Chair of Research, Executive Director for Surgical Translational Research regarding all faculty research activities related to their grants.
Required Skills
Master's degree is a required • Project management certification is desired but not required.
2-3 years of experience as a clinical research coordinator or relevant experience in clinical research logistics, billing compliance required.
