Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems sector is seeking a well qualified SEIT Production Lead for San Diego CA site. In this role the selected candidate will report to the SEIT Production & Sustainment Lead and will serve as the deputy lead of the team responsible for the day-to-day operation of SEIT production tasking across all Systems Engineering functions, including Requirements, Integration, Cyber, System Safety, E3, IFC development, and configuration management. The production effort is focused on the construction and selloff of the Triton UAS including UAVs, Ground Stations and ancillary related hardware and services. The position requires system thinking and strong knowledge of the engineering life-cycle processes including development, integration, test and configuration control. Essential Duties

Direct interface with Program Manager and NAVAIR customer to define and support Production activities Development and management of hardware/software and system security implementation schedules, and coordinate safety assessments of Problem Alerts Lead technical analysis in coordination with IPT leads to advise the Chief Engineer on implementation of engineering change proposals on Production assets Coordinate implementation of complex technical and programmatic changes into Production assets, managing program cost with technical excellence Lead development of Systems Engineering scope on production program and expanding ownership of technical disciplines Develop, submit and defend proposals for Systems Engineering work on Production programs Provide technical leadership across program functions demonstrating ownership of system design Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's in Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and 8 years’ experience or MS degree in STEM discipline with 6 years’ experience OR PhD in STEM discipline with 4 year’s experience Ability to obtain and maintain final Secret clearance Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Knowledge of engineering change processes (e.g. CCB) Preferred Qualifications

Experience throughout program lifecycle, especially in Sustainment and Development activities Previous experience in IFC management Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and/or previous Control Account Manager (CAM) experience Familiarity with Systems Engineering and Design processes Experience in cyber disciplines, especially in ATO maintenance Familiarity working with military specifications/standards Experience developing proposals Demonstrated cross functional leadership and coordination skills Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills Active Top Secret clearance Northrop Grumman is an Equal Opportunity Employer, making decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected class.
