The Role: Senior Labor & Employment Attorney

As a Senior Labor and Employment Attorney, you will be responsible for a diverse range of matters, including litigation defense, client counseling, and preventative measures for employers across various industries. Key Responsibilities

Litigation: Manage all phases of single-plaintiff and class action employment litigation, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and PAGA claims. Counseling: Provide proactive and strategic advice to clients on compliance with federal and California state labor and employment laws (e.g., FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FEHA, California Wage Orders). Documentation: Draft and review employment policies, handbooks, severance agreements, and other critical employment documents. Billable Requirement: Maintain a competitive annual billable requirement of 1750 hours. What We Offer

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited Law School is mandatory. Active membership and good standing with the State Bar of California. Significant, demonstrable experience (5+ years preferred) exclusively practicing labor and employment law, focusing on the defense side. Deep expertise in California state and federal employment laws. Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. A proven track record of managing cases independently and effectively mentoring junior associates.
