Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Senior Accountant to support key accounting functions, including month-end reconciliations, accounts payable review, and audit preparation. This role requires strong accounting expertise, a proactive approach to process improvement, and prior experience in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform month-end account reconciliations and assist with close processes Review and oversee accounts payable transactions for accuracy and compliance Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate job costing Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required) Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience Construction industry experience is required Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Excellent Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Seniority level and Employment type
