The Office of Legal Affairs, under the direction of the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, provides legal representation and advice to the University and all its constituent parts. As one of the largest universities in the nation, Ohio State is a multifaceted and sophisticated institution, with a high-level and leading-edge legal practice that touches nearly every area of law. Under the day-to-day supervision of the Senior Assistant Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel of the Legal Affairs Risk Management unit, the Associate General Counsel will provide legal advice and services to the Wexner Medical Center on a broad range of complex risk management and medical staff affairs matters. Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate must have graduated from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and be a member of the Ohio Bar or eligible to practice law in the State of Ohio within one year or less. A minimum of 6 years of legal practice is required. Significant previous experience in health law, including risk management, is preferred. Additional Information
