Private practice opportunity in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Therapeutic Radiology of Yakima (TROY) has been delivering care in the Yakima Valley for over 30 years. TROY is a 2 physician practice seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to replace a retiring partner.

EPIC EMR/Varian ARIA record + verify system/Eclipse treatment planning system Philips Big Bore CT simulator with 4DCT capability 2 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators Brand new Varian Bravos HDR afterloader Treatments: 2D, 3D, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR brachy, and radiopharmaceuticals Each MD works 1:1 with 1 MA and 1 RN 2 full time dosimetrists, 2 full time medical physicists, 7-8 RTTs MultiCare Memorial: MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital has been serving the Yakima community since 1950. It has 226 inpatient beds and one of the busiest emergency rooms in the state of Washington. In 2023 it became part of MultiCare health system and is now one of 13 hospitals in the health system. MultiCare Cancer Institute North Star Lodge is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2025 and allows our team to provide high quality compassionate cancer care locally in a tranquil setting. It is accredited through the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Community: Yakima, WA is located in central Washington with a population of almost 100,000 and a hospital catchment area of over 250,000 people. The Yakima Valley is well known for its agricultural production of apples, cherries, wine, and hops (~ 75% of all hops grown in the US). Easy access to award winning wineries even starts at the city limits. Yakima is also close to mountains and allows easy day trips to Seattle or Portland. Yakima averages over 300 days with sunshine per year and offers year-round outdoor activities depending on the season including hiking, skiing, biking, fishing, hunting, and even foraging for Morel mushrooms.
