Entry-Level Assembler

Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Assembler, where your contributions will directly impact the production of essential electrical power grid solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare for assembly tasks by reviewing instructions, blueprints, and materials lists, while gathering required parts and tools.
• Position parts accurately using templates or by measuring for precise assembly.
• Assemble components and ensure proper connections by examining fittings and securely fastening parts.
• Support the creation of prototypes and unique assembly projects as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
• Use resources efficiently to achieve optimal results in your work.
• Assist in developing team skills by training coworkers in basic assembly tasks.
• Inspect your work to ensure it meets quality standards before transitioning to the next phase.
• Complete necessary documentation for production and quality records.

We are seeking candidates who:

• Possess a High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Have up to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred but not mandatory).
• Are comfortable using small hand and power tools safely.
• Can read and understand technical drawings and material specifications.
• Have basic computer competency.
• Are able to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements:

• Medium to Heavy Physical Demand Level as defined by the US Department of Labor.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting are required.
• Lifting capabilities include up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance, and 40 pounds frequently.
• Engage in push/pull activities with weights exceeding 40 pounds occasionally, with assistance as necessary.
