Job Title: Email Marketing Manager (Contract)

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office)

Duration: 3-month contract (October-December)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Our client in the nonprofit space is looking for a contract Email Marketing Manager to join their team until the end of the year!

**Experience with Blackbaud will be required for consideration**

This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in email marketing strategy and execution, particularly within the Blackbaud ecosystem (Illuminate and TeamRaiser). You'll collaborate closely with content and creative teams to build, analyze, and optimize email campaigns and workflows that support our fundraising and engagement goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy email campaigns and workflows using Blackbaud Illuminate
• Advise on email design, flow, and strategy in collaboration with the creative team
• Ensure adherence to email marketing best practices (deliverability, segmentation, timing, etc.)
• Partner with content creators to execute campaigns (no content writing required)
• Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights
• Support project management tasks related to email and fundraising initiatives
• Assist with TeamRaiser fundraising email setup and execution
• Contribute to SMS campaign strategy and execution (basic understanding is sufficient)

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in email marketing, ideally in nonprofit or fundraising environments
• Hands-on experience with Blackbaud products, especially Illuminate and TeamRaiser
• Strong HTML/CSS skills for email coding and troubleshooting
• Proven ability to analyze email metrics and optimize performance
• Familiarity with SMS marketing tools and strategies (a plus)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
