As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team in driving the seamless operation and maintenance of a facility, campus, or a portfolio of small to mid-sized buildings. Your mission? To ensure everything runs like clockwork—efficiently, safely, and sustainably. This role is part of our Facilities Management function, where we go beyond the basics. You’ll be at the heart of asset operations, collaborating closely with various teams to deliver exceptional service and performance across the board.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance performed by vendors and contractors.
Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
Prepare and manage capital and operating projects.
Manage all aspects of budget development, implementation and monitoring.
Perform facility inspections, following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
Provide formal supervision for employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence stakeholders to achieve consensus.
Apply knowledge of the discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be apparent in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need
Proven experience in managing commercial facilities, including overseeing daily operations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and managing vendor relationships.
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
Demonstrated experience in managing and overseeing a budget.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong technical aptitude.
Foundational understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and positive client interaction.
Ability to navigate the exchange of sensitive and complex information, set performance expectations, and resolve issues.
Leadership skills to motivate team and influence quality, efficiency, and effectiveness; experience with managing a team.
Strong organizational skills with a curious, inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills, including ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Compensation and Benefits (California Residents) CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary is $125,000 annually. Compensation offers will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience. Eligible for a discretionary bonus. Benefits include: 401(K), Dental, Health, Life, and Vision insurance.
