Overview Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance for a real estate investment and management organization. Responsible for all accounting operations for assets valued over $2+ billion, including 70+ entities, and for timely and accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, cash management, FP&A, and related finance activities. This role is a member of the Executive Team and may oversee direct reports within a broader team.

Provide executive oversight of all accounting and finance functions, including payroll. Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, systems and controls (general ledger, financial reporting, cash flow management). Oversee the general ledger month-end close and prepare financial analysis and results for Executive management. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to Executive Team. Prepare and oversee monthly and quarterly distributions as well as financials for investor reporting. Produce key financial reports for quarterly Advisory Board meetings. Analyze financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and budget compliance. Participate in strategic financial planning and develop long-term financial plans and structures in support of the Executive Team's strategic plan. Manage relationships with tax consultants, audit firms, banks, insurance providers, lenders and other third parties to fulfill Company objectives. Ensure lender reporting and compliance with financial covenants and applicable standards. Communicate with operations management to ensure compliance with financial policies. Safeguard assets and develop early warning systems to identify and mitigate fraud. Manage the Company's property and casualty insurance program. Partner with Investments Team on tax appeal applications. Oversee timely income and expense filings and CAM reconciliations for commercial tenants. Manage and support the Payroll Director to ensure accurate payroll operations. Oversee Finance Systems development, including Yardi roadmap and development. Other duties as trained for and qualified to do. Key Qualifications

Professional certifications: CPA mandatory; Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; MBA preferred. Extensive real estate industry knowledge and experience, specifically real estate income tax accounting. Proven ability to motivate and manage teams. Minimum of fifteen (15) plus years of relevant financial experience. Experience in a complex organization with multiple divisions and revenue streams. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Yardi or similar platforms (MRI, RealPage). Ability to multi-task, work independently and delegate in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Impeccable integrity and clean financial history. Familiarity with outsourcing options and interest in AI tools to improve efficiency of recurring tasks is a plus. Market-based pay range for this role is

$250,000-$300,000

annually (plus bonuses), negotiable based on qualifications. Final salary will generally fall within this range and depend on responsibilities, experience, skill set, internal pay equity, and other qualifications. EEO:
