Job Title: Housekeeper (Environmental Services)
Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Location: St Peters, MO
Openings: 1
Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every 3rd weekend & rotating holidays
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality service in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning and janitorial tasks in patient rooms, public areas, and common spaces using established procedures.
Complete discharge cleaning in inpatient rooms and prepare them for new admissions.
Set up and reset rooms as needed, including changing linens, mopping floors, and arranging furnishings.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of housekeeping equipment according to guidelines.
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Required Skills
General cleaning and housekeeping
Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing
Trash removal and floor care (including buffing)
Customer service and communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or environmental services roles
Experience in a hospital or medical facility is a plus
Additional Information
Will be required to work every third weekend and rotate holidays
Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
