About the Opportunity

Driscoll's of the America's Talent Acquisition (TA) team is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent for full time professional roles in North and South America and select business support and R&D roles throughout Driscoll's global operations. The team, comprised of recruiters located in the United States and Mexico, is looking to add a US based Recruiting Coordinator to our team. The Recruiting Coordinator will support the Talent Acquisition team by providing internal administrative support along with external communication to candidates and newly hired individuals.

This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in exploring opportunities in the recruiting and talent acquisition field. Experience in recruiting is desired but not required, however excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to provide creative solutions with limited guidance, will be required. This role will require excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

The Recruiting Coordinator will support the TA team with tasks associated with Driscoll's interview and selection process through employee onboarding. The TA team is often the first contact point with Driscoll's from a candidate perspective, and as such, professional, accurate, and timely communication is essential to the role. Daily activities will vary, but will often comprise the following tasks:

• Communicate directly with candidates throughout the interview and selection process regarding interview scheduling, including guidance on travel and out of pocket expense reimbursement

• Plan, organize, and schedule group interviews using Microsoft Outlook Calendar ensuring exceptional accuracy and summarized clearly

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the TA team, Human Resources stakeholders, internal hiring managers and external candidates to create partnerships that yield success, predictable results and credibility

• Demonstrates foresight by anticipating upcoming steps in the recruiting process and proactively taking appropriate actions to ensure a successful outcome

• Assist in posting jobs to various job boards with attention to detail

• Ensure any changes in candidate scheduling are communicated to all effected parties

• Focus on driving an exceptional candidate experience

• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems to locate and update candidate information

• Access and process pre-employment background check verifications

• Assist TA team with candidate sourcing activities via social media platforms and Driscoll's internal applicant tracking system (Workday)

• Represent Driscoll's Values of Passion, Humility and Trustworthiness in every interaction

• Follow Company policies and practices while representing Driscoll's in an ethical and business-like manner in all interactions with employees, governmental agencies, growers, customers, etc.

• Ensure the security of Driscoll's and candidate's confidential and proprietary information and materials

• Occasional travel as needed

Candidate Profile

This position is offered as a full-time temporary position, with the potential to convert to a permanent role in 2026.

This role will require an on-site presence in Watsonville, CA, remote workers will not be considered.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline desired
• 1 to 2 years' experience in a Recruiting Coordinator, Administrative Support, or customer service-related function
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish required
• Strong attention to detail in scheduling, writing, and grammar, ensuring impeccable accuracy
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and skilled with social media
• Must be able to manage competing demands and high volumes, while being adaptable and flexible with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Strong initiative and judgment abilities
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications; ability to learn applicant tracking systems
• Ability to successfully work in a cross-functional team environment

Compensation & Benefits:

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.

Pay Range estimated for the Recruiting Coordinator: $26.00/hour to $32.00/hour USD.
