Overview
LHH is seeking an HR COORDINATOR for a direct hire position in NW Houston, TX.
Position: HR COORDINATOR
Type: Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire
Location: 100% onsite (Houston, TX 77041)
Salary Range: $60,000-70,000 annually DOE
Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am-5 pm
NOTE: Candidates MUST have experience utilizing and applying AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, ChatGPT) to improve HR workflows and reporting to be considered for this role.
Duties
Provide administrative support across HR functions including onboarding, benefits coordination, and compliance tracking
Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities and events (e.g., team-building, celebrations, lunch setups)
Design and prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for internal and external HR communications
Assist with pre-employment screening, background checks, and I-9 verifications
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Paycom preferred)
Support benefits open enrollment and respond to inquiries via the HR Service Desk ticketing system
Compile and analyze HR data for executive and board-level reporting
Apply AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, ChatGPT) to improve HR workflows and reporting
Respond to employment verifications and manage workers’ compensation claims
Conduct regular audits of HRIS data for accuracy and compliance
Support other HR projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles
Healthcare industry experience highly preferred
HR certification (PHR, aPHR, or SHRM-CP) is a plus
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
Experience with Paycom HRIS system a plus
Strong knowledge of AI tools and their application in HR
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
