About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead and develop its corporate accounting capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and revenue cycle functions. This role involves managing the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements. The Director of Accounting will also be tasked with building and maintaining relationships with external auditors, as well as driving continuous improvement in financial processes. Applicants for the Director of Accounting position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a CPA certification, and a minimum of 7-10 years' of experience in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior accounting leader with a background in a publicly traded company and a proven track record of enhancing the accounting function. Experience in complex, high-performing companies and a hands-on approach to leadership are essential. While not mandatory, experience in a multi-site enterprise, particularly within the health plan industry, and hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar enterprise systems, are considered advantageous.
