About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President of Technical Accounting to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in providing accounting support for a variety of transactions, with a focus on being the lead representative in the due diligence process. This role requires a deep understanding of deal structures, the ability to partner with stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive grasp of complex transactions, and a commitment to the company's core values. Responsibilities include advising on transaction structuring, assisting in the preparation of accounting-related diligence materials, and leading the purchase accounting process. The role also involves a significant amount of technical accounting research, particularly under U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, and the preparation of technical accounting memos to support conclusions. Applicants for the Associate Vice President of Technical Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 10 years' of experience in accounting and/or public accounting. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial due diligence, SEC reporting experience, and knowledge of financial ERP/reporting systems, with Hyperion being preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as is the ability to summarize complex issues for senior management and other stakeholders. The role demands a high level of organizational skills and the ability to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of project completion.
