Starting salary: $130.55/day

Qualifications

Certification/Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Skills:

Special Knowledge/ Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge in general office/secretarial skills to include Microsoft Office and operation of general office equipment.
  • General knowledge of technology and computers.
  • Organizational, communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Two years of general office experience

Major Responsibilities And Duties

  • Prepare, type and distribute documents for Director, Supervisors and other professional personnel.
  • Assist in collecting, compiling, and disseminating information and preparing reports as needed.
  • Assist in routine office and inter-office communications and operations.
  • Assist with miscellaneous copying and filing.
  • Assist with work order input, including initiation, completion and filing of work orders.
  • Assist technicians with desktop, laptop and electronic tablet operation and issues.
  • Assist with the requisition process and purchase order process.
  • Assist with payroll process.
  • Place warehouse and office supply orders.
  • Keep accurate record of state and city permits for schools.
  • Maintain good public relations with district employees by courteous and prompt handling of questions and requests.
  • Must possess basic accounting skills.
  • Exhibit professional telephone etiquette.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and confidential information at all times.
  • Completes or assists others in completing special projects.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal); maintain emotional control under stress; interpret policy, procedures, and data; coordinate district functions.

Physical Demands/Environment Factors: Frequent prolonged and irregular hours; repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer, steady phone interactions; moderate standing, walking, and bending.
