Delivery Driver Helper Duties and Responsibilities

- Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!
- Assist the delivery driver in the safe and timely transport of goods to customers
- Assist driver with parking, backing up and manoeuvring of the vehicle
- Assist driver with contact compliance
- Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle
- Perform heavy lifting of packages and products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle

Delivery Driver Helper Basic Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must be able to safely work with heavy, bulky packages up to 300 lbs.
• Must be committed to excellent customer service.
• Having a Driver's license - a PLUS.
• Experience with box trucks, tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers - a PLUS.
• Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and able to lift heavy items repeatedly - a PLUS.
• Familiarity with operating pallet jacks for moving goods - a PLUS.
• Commercial driving experience - a PLUS.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and courier services - a PLUS.
