Job Description

Must have F-endorsement and driving experience. $18/hr.

The Delivery Driver will deliver wood trusses and beams to the jobsite, via a semi-truck with roll-off stretch trailer that stretches out to 70' and or straight truck with a rollback bed. Frequently, the loads are over width and or over length that must be escorted per DOT guidelines. The driver will inspect and maintain the truck, report shortages and claims to the Material Manager, and assist in loading and storing materials.

• Deliver wood trusses and beams to the jobsite
• Inspect and maintain the truck
• Report shortages and claims to the Material Manager
• Assist in loading and storing materials
• Provide the best customer service while unloading building materials
• Promptly complete deliveries and return to the store in a timely manner
• Work on the yard to assist customers between delivery assignments
• Assist yard workers in unloading and storing returned merchandise
• Assist forklift operators with building delivery loads

Requirements

• 6 months previous experience driving a truck
• Desire to exceed customer expectations
• Teamwork mentality
• Minimum of F-endorsement on valid driver's license
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
