Position: Warehouse Cross-dock Supervisor

Reports to: Branch Manager

Relay Express is a 24/7 Logistical Solutions Provider. We are currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Cross-Dock Supervisor for our Romulus, MI Branch. The focus and responsibilities of this position are to supervise and facilitate all aspects of our cross-dock operation, logistical warehousing, and contractor support. This person will meet all service requirements while adhering to the policies and procedures of Relay Express. Inc. The candidate must possess strong relationship skills and maintain a positive solution-based attitude at all times.

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 12:00 p.m-8:30 p.m

Duties And Responsibilities

• Have a complete understanding of Relay Express' warehousing/logistics, services programs, customers and service parameter definitions.
• Responsible for keeping the warehouse looking professional, clean, safe, and organized.
• Sign for and complete all incoming and outbound deliveries according to customer requirements daily.
• Be able to provide detailed information on each shipment coming into and being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Organize incoming orders per customer, prepare each shipment for driver pickup.
• Make deliveries as needed up to 20% of your shift.
• Maintain professional attire, language, and business demeanor in all dealings with customers, employees, and vendors.

Requirements

• Professional image and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Ability to work in an unsupervised manner
• Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and driver availability.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, contractors, and the operations team.

Compensation

Benefits and Compensation:

• $19-$21 per hour, mileage reimbursed at $0.30/mile for any deliveries performed.
• Medical Benefits after 60 days. Premium paid at 75 %
