Manufacturing Operator Job at Net2Source (N2S) in Indianapolis

Overview

Shifts structure 6.00 PM to 6.00 AM OR 6.00 AM to 6.00 PM. 24/7 schedule (3 work shifts, 2 off shifts, 2 work shifts, 3 off shifts). 12-hour shifts. Shift structure may vary depending on business needs.

Pay Range $30 - $33 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manufacturing processes relative to the department/area in which they are assigned. Operate manufacturing equipment based on established written procedures and work rules.
• Responsible for product quality and safety on the assigned line and for achieving production standards in both quantity and quality. Follow cGMP and safety guidelines, and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform light cleaning to maintain a clean operating environment. Write maintenance summaries of assembly and workstation areas as needed.
• Execute quality checks in accordance with department/area requirements and document findings. Document process steps on appropriate batch documentation.
• Stocking, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal may be included. Unpack/pack and load/unload components and product on the lines.
• Attain and maintain qualification for the operation of assigned process equipment and duties in the area. Setup and operation of equipment.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and basic math and computer skills, with the ability to learn in more detail.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality and quantity of product.
• Contribute to clear communication; proactive, good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Maintain a safe work environment and be able to wear safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves, safety cap, etc.).

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of manufacturing experience. Experience in a GMP environment, strong multitasking ability, technical abilities, and troubleshooting skills. This role is Manufacturing Operator, not Warehouse.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts.
• Basic math and basic computer skills; ability to learn additional details as needed.
