The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth is seeking a Senior Custodian to provide onsite supervision of custodial crews and maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and the public.
Job Summary: The Senior Custodian will oversee the work activities of assigned site custodial personnel, ensure rooms are clean and ready for meetings, classroom activities, and events, and maintain facilities to minimize deterioration and damage.
Responsibilities
- Provides onsite supervision of custodial crews as assigned
- Maintains an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and public
- Communicates information in response to inquiries
- Ensures rooms are clean and ready for meetings, classroom activities, and events
- Maintains facilities to minimize facility deterioration and damage
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of job-related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of custodial procedures and techniques
- Comprehensive understanding of cleaning methods, materials, equipment, and products used in custodial work
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Five years of custodial experience
- Bilingual
- Able to work well with others in a professional, respectful manner
- Supervisory experience a plus
