Responsibilities
- Open and close the house and assign rooms.
- Inspect guest rooms, suites, and corridors to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Maintain stocked floors and ensure supplies are available for room attendants.
- Ensure china, glass, and silver are in excellent condition and properly maintained.
- Complete inspection reports and immediately report any damage or issues reported by Room Attendants.
- Report burned-out lights and raise engineering issues as needed.
- Manage Lost & Found items with proper maintenance and recording.
- Keep halls clear of trash, soiled linen, cribs, and other guest service equipment.
- Input and update the status of guest rooms; ensure room attendants are actively working and properly supplied.
- Exhibit hospitality and a one-stop service mindset, greet customers, and complete any special assignments directed by supervision.
- Complete any special assignments as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director of Services.
Supporting Role Responsibilities
- May assist the evening staff with duties such as lobby cleaning, turndown service, and trash removal.
- Perform special projects and participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
- No travel required.
- Hours: scheduled days and times may vary.
Supervisory
- Assist in the development and training of the department.
- In the absence of the Director of Services and Housekeeping Supervisor, act as Person in Charge.
