Laboratory Technician - 3rd shift Job at Hunter Recruiting in Cuyahoga Falls

We’re hiring a 3rd shift Laboratory Technician to support quality operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great long-term opportunity for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in a science field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, etc.) who’s looking to build hands-on experience with industry-standard lab equipment and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine testing on raw materials and finished goods to support quality assurance
• Accurately document and communicate test results in a timely manner
• Operate lab instruments such as pH meters, viscometers, FTIR, GC, HPLC, titration equipment, and more
• Assist R&D with pilot plant samples and testing protocols
• Maintain lab records, systems, and inventory according to SOPs
• Support ongoing product development and validation processes
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean, audit-ready lab environment
• Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed
• Utilize LIMS and internal systems for sample tracking and data entry

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related science
• OR Associate’s degree with 1–2 years of hands-on lab experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
• Comfortable working independently in a regulated environment
• Willingness to work 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Prior experience in a lab or GMP/FDA-regulated setting is a plus, but not required
