Job Description

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Full-time Forklift Operator at our Kansas City, MO service center. You will move all types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed dock.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
• Some LTL experience

Details

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts. Starting pay: 25.12/hr. Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation & holidays, and employee resort lodging.
