About Us:

At American Structure, we specialize in foundation repair and substructure replacement, providing homeowners and businesses with lasting solutions to ensure their structures are safe and stable. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to manage the financial records and transactions of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare job costing reports.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial data.
  • Submit vendor invoices to upper management for approval.
  • Prepare bank deposits, monthly bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Present financial statements monthly to upper management.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and year-end audits.
  • Collaborate with accountants for tax preparation and other financial requirements.
  • Monitor financial transactions for discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Provide real time profitability for projects promptly.
  • Serve as application support administrator on software such as Salesforce, Arcsite, and Raken, as needed.
  • Work closely with operations team to stay up to date on project status.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in an in-office work environment

Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
