InfoMart, a company that has been revolutionizing the global background and identity screening industry for over 30 years, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee all general areas of human resources.
Responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and performance management. The HR Manager will facilitate the implementation of the organization's human resources strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops, and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives.
This role will provide day-to-day Human Resources support for an employee population that is primarily remote. Must be available to spend time in the Marietta headquarter office as needed for new hire onboarding and special events, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee and process bi-weekly payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including wage adjustments, deductions, and time-off tracking.
- Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, leave policies, etc.).
- Serve as the primary liaison between employees and benefit providers.
- Manage annual benefits enrollment and ensure timely communication to employees.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions and recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and offer letters.
- Oversee a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation, training schedules, and introduction to company culture.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruiters, job boards, and community partners to support talent acquisition.
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, and workplace issues.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints, grievances, or policy violations in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and collaboration.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations matters.
Performance Management
- Manage the performance review process, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.
- Coach managers on goal setting, feedback delivery, and employee development.
- Partner with leadership to identify training needs and implement development programs.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
- Maintain employee files and HRIS records with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision making.
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
3+ years of human resources experience required or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases, NetSuite preferred.
- Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.
