Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Fully Onsite – Overland Park, KS
Type: Direct Hire | $65-75,000
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a company in Overland Park, KS who is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resource Generalist. The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, with a strong focus on new hire onboarding and orientation, benefits and leave administration, and employee relations. This role requires a proactive and empathetic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the onboarding and orientation process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and leave policies (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with demonstrated expertise in onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
