Two IT Technical Support Specialists (Customer Experience Analysts) are needed to support critical security rollouts and a transition from Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). The role supports over 1,000 users, including teams such as Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Office of Legal Services (OLS), SAS, and scientific research teams. The role also assists with implementing and rolling out Delinea Secret Server and managing Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD accounts.
Responsibilities
- Support critical security rollouts including YubiKeys, FIDO2, BitLocker, Windows Hello for Business (WHFB), and password scrambling in alignment with NIST standards.
- Participate in the organization’s transition from Citrix VDI to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), supporting over 1,000 users across multiple departments.
- Assist in the implementation and rollout of Delinea Secret Server to securely encrypt and manage user credentials.
- Manage Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD account provisioning, updates, and synchronization.
- Provide help desk support including troubleshooting, hardware deployment, printer setup, and end-user documentation.
- Contribute to security and IT initiatives to maintain daily operations and improve IT posture.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years in a technical or functional consulting, research, or related role, including experience presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree required (a copy will be requested). Substitution: Four (4) additional years of qualifying experience may substitute for the degree.
Preferred and Desirable Qualifications
- Active Directory and Azure AD expertise including account creation, password resets, and maintenance (minimum two (2) years).
- Experience auditing IT processes, gathering customer needs and usage data related to IT infrastructure and implementation (minimum two (2) years).
- Conflict resolution experience; knowledge of diverse research practices and programming is a plus (minimum two (2) years).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines (minimum two (2) years).
- Technical documentation experience for varied staff levels (minimum two (2) years).
- Experience in a large enterprise IT environment (minimum two (2) years).
