Site Designer
with
0-3 years of professional experience
to be part of our Land Development team in our
West Palm Beach, or Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

Assist in the development of site plans from concept through construction Modification of drawings based on input from Design Manager and Sr. Designers Assist in meetings and preparation of graphics for presentations Research and review of local land development regulations for design standards Assistance in the design of plans using basic knowledge of water conveyance and retention, utility easements, parking, open space, access/egress points, vehicular circulation, landscape areas, etc. Work under the direction of a Design Manager and guidance from Sr. Designers on the Site Planning Team Works in a team environment to establish and maintain common schedule goals Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Urban Design or equivalent from an accredited university; 0-3 years related experience with the ability to become licensed in the State of Florida Demonstrates reliable understanding of the relationship between design and constructability; Proficiency using computer software programs including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; Experience using computer software programs including SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator is a plus; Ability to prepare hand drawn sketches, graphics and illustrations; Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to write reports, business correspondence and presentations.

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work is performed in an office setting. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate a computer, keyboard and mouse. Use of a telephone headset will allow for virtual communication with team members through Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods, use hands/fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms, speak and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
