Job Description The Software Architect provides technical expertise administration, development, maintenance, and staff guidance of very high priority Human Service Cluster applications within our Microsoft Power Platform suite of applications. We currently have two major projects, PRJ0251481 - BRIA Information Network (BIN) Web Application Replacement and the OTDA Ongoing Summer EBT Program that the Software Architect will be the primary developer on. The Software Architect will also be responsible for the maintenance activities to support the Contract Administration System (CATS and Recommended Appointment System (REAPS). In addition to support and maintenance efforts, the position is responsible for all activities associated with the project's system development life cycle - system planning, design, development, quality assurance and maintenance. It is expected that the Software Architect will have the ability to understand the business requirements and convert them into system designs.
Day to Day Tasks Day to day tasks include, but are not limited to: Working with end-users to ascertain business needs and application enhancements. Troubleshooting and resolving application defects in Microsoft .NET code. Building and configuring entities, business rules, and workflows in Microsoft Dynamics applications. Working with the project team to define the technical requirements and architecture for the BIN application rewrite. Attend daily SCRUM meetings to provide status updates and identify any blockers to performing assigned work.
Mandatory Qualification Software Architect - Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
Expert - 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications - 48 Months experience Developing CRM Solutions in Microsoft Dynamics or PowerApps - 84 Months experience designing application architecture, developing & deploying n-tier asp.Net Web apps using vb.net web services. - 60 Months experience acting in advisory role to IT management in Web application architecture, software evaluation, POC, and mentoring developers in areas such as system architecture, design patterns, common system utilities, and secure Web application coding. - 72 Months experience coding with C# - 36 Months experience creating n-tiered applications utilizing Microsoft's Entity Framework. - 36 Months experience creating n-tiered applications with JavaScript Framework (i.e. jQuery, Wijmo) - 12 Months experience using Responsive Web Design such as Bootstrap. - 24 Months experience developing projects related to social services (for example, Food Stamps, Medicaid, HEAP, TANF) or accounting. - 72 Months development experience using Oracle and PL/SQL Packages, with experience in SQL programming. - Bachelor's degree
