Position Summary

Responsible for receiving and shipping dental products, devices, component parts and miscellaneous items into and from the repair facility by performing the following duties. S/he is responsible for pulling and ensuring all box orders (supply orders) are processed and shipped daily.

Duties

Work independently as well as collectively with team members. Unloads and inspects shipments received for accuracy and potential damage. Acts as a liaison and communicates problems, discrepancies, etc., with supervisor and technicians. Timely entry into SAP systems related to HuFriedyGroup asset inventory which may require cycle count, verification of pricing, address accuracy, item numbers, PO#, ship date requests, freight terms and contracts. Routes dental products, component parts and miscellaneous items to final destination. Leads and oversees the full cycle shipping tasks including but not limited to; Processing orders (including loaners/demos), RMAs, obtaining and retaining all back up documentation and approvals, respond to inquiries regarding the status of orders and delivery/tracking, preparing freight bills, packing lists, commercial invoices, and other documentation required for domestic and international orders, packs and secures outgoing dental, component parts, and miscellaneous items for shipment through courier. Knowledgeable of and conforms to Company ISO goals and objectives and supports ISO requirements. Identify, participate and implement continuous improvement activities to impact overall receiving areas quality, cost, and delivery initiatives. Performs similar and related duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager, and/or Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager. Other duties as assigned. Required Education/ Degree

Required Experience

1 year of work experience, preferably in a Warehouse or Shipping and Receiving environment. Troubleshooting - Determining causes of errors and deciding what to do about it. Good hand/eye coordination (manual dexterity) Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing responsibilities, and prioritize duties. Ability to work under limited supervision, either independently or as a team in a fast paced, changing environment Requires ability to navigate through defined computer screens and Operational Data Management System. Above average organizing, analyzing and basic math skills (four basic arithmetic functions in all units of measurement, decimals, ratios, rates, percentages) to determine organizational, Customer and regulatory problems and formulate corrective action plans. Show an attention to detail and ensure data accuracy (Receiving Reports, Bills of Lading, etc.). Preferred Experience

1-2 years of warehousing or shipping/receiving experience OSHA Certified Forklift Operator
