Rate of Pay
Starting at $23.50 + additional pay for relevant work experience.
Job Summary:
As a Reach Truck Operator, you will play a vital role in efficiently replenishing stock in our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include organizing received products in proper bin locations to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately store all products according to inventory control guidelines.
Remove shrink wrap from pallets and securely stack them in designated locations.
Wrap pallets for stability and ensure safe stacking for transportation.
Promptly report any damage or inventory discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness in dock and facility areas.
Adhere to food safety and housekeeping standards.
Replenish empty pick bins as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; college coursework or relevant experience is a plus.
Prior warehouse experience preferred.
Experience operating a reach truck is required.
Must pass operational fork truck test with a score of 80% or higher.
Ability to manage and prioritize requests from multiple sources.
Basic math skills for accurate pallet heights and counts.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work at heights while wearing appropriate PPE.
Willingness to adapt to flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
Environmental Job Conditions:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
Work in a refrigerated environment, involving frequent standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
Build and handle pallets up to 6 feet tall.
Endurance for a fast-paced work setting.
Adjust to fluctuating temperatures, including cold environments.
Use necessary equipment safely after training.
Products may contain allergens such as fish, shellfish, and peanuts.
