Be assigned to an IT team based on availability of opportunities and alignment of skills and interests. Specific responsibilities will be discussed with candidates selected for an interview. Examples of IT teams include: Software Engineering (Performance & Reliability Engineering; Channels/Servicing/Enterprise Payments/Customer Communications; AI/Automation & Omni Channel Technology; Flight Ops / Crew Onboard Services / TPF Ops Apps; TechOps, DMS & DFP; Corporate Technology; Global Sales, DLV & Engineering Services; PAX Movement / Cargo / Airport Ops / Bag Management), Information Security, Enterprise Technology (RAISE), Revenue Technology & Data Analytics, and Business Transformation. Work in a two-semester alternating Co-op program with rotations completed before graduation. What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
Commit to full-time work (40 hours per week) for two rotational semesters; Spring 2026 (January 12 – May 1, 2026) and Fall 2026 (August 17 – December 11, 2026). Be willing to work onsite in the Atlanta, GA headquarters office; most teams operate on a hybrid schedule with management approval. Undergraduate student with a 2.5+ GPA and at least 2 years completed in a college program. Degree emphasis should be in Computer Science, Software Development, Systems/Industrial/Electrical Engineering, MIS, Data Science, Data Analytics/Operations Research, Cyber Security, Business Management, or related field. Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills; good work ethic; ability to work with diverse teams and uphold safety and security. Interest in solving complex problems and willingness to invest time and energy to overcome roadblocks. Awareness of cloud technology, Agile methodologies, Software Development Lifecycles, and/or PC hardware concepts preferred. Professional conduct in a business-casual environment; interest in Delta Air Lines after graduation if offered a full-time role. Preferred Qualifications
Ability to code and understanding of development team structures, sprints, and backlog management. Familiarity with Python, AWS, and some Information Security concepts. Ability to digest large data sets and explain insights that support decision-making. Interest in leadership techniques and problem-solving best practices to enable innovation and progress on challenging customer needs. Passion for technologies such as mobile apps, enterprise web apps, APIs, messaging, databases, big data, and AI. Additional Best Practices

On the Information Security team, the co-op may contribute by working on bug fixes in the CDART product, adding new functionality to the CDART core engine and UI, testing connectors, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, and deploying remediated code to production.
